Arshavin, Adebayor and Arsene

Blardy Emmanuel Adebayor looks set to leave us this summer to join Manchester City for a reported fee of £25 million after passing a medical with the Citizens and also being granted a work permit a couple days ago. They are still in discussions to finalize terms but the fact remains that a deal is still yet to be concluded.

Our potential talisman, Andrei Arshavin however couldn't be further away from jamming on the alarm button.

"He is an excellent striker. Everybody knows him. He can score from nothing. But it's his decision. If he wants to stay or he wants to leave."
A very calm response from Arshavin if I may add.

Adebayor's departure will most certainly affect Arsenal's attacking prowess (although we have Van Persie!) but when quizzed about this predicament, Arshavin again provided a cool response,
"I think it's not my question. We have Arsene. He knows everything. He knows that if we need someone Arsenal will buy."
Spot on, boy. Spot on.

Why Will Man Utd Win The 09/10 English Premier League?

AND THE WINNING TWEET "WHY WILL MAN UTD WIN THE 09/10 ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE?" IS....

veen1828@FindFutsaLMsia better squad depth than the other big 4 teams.Strikers able to rtrn 2 a mr tradtional position with the departure of Ronaldo

Dear veen1828, please check your Direct Message on Twitter! :D

Special mentions:

Weelau@FindFutsaLMsia Why? Because it still has all the mainstay of players. One or two players won't win the championship for the team.

zique@FindFutsaLMsia Man Utd have a team that's at their peak. Great team work. Who else is fit to sit on the throne of EPL other than Man Utd?

Theurbanshogun@FindFutsaLMsia They've an english core to the team who have the experience to train up the younger members of the squad faster than arsene

mayzhee@FindFutsaLMsia Because when Owen comes I'm going to ask him to be my boyfriend and he'll be very happy in time for EPL :D

emarktan@FindFutsaLMsia ...MU sure WIN becoz I m NOT in EPL, give me d ticket so I can show Owen how to scooooorreeeee

vigneshraja@FindFutsaLMsia Well, its 'cos MU's gonna 've a gr8 Asia training session before they march onto the big one,esp MU v Malaysia is critical :)

ndru
@FindFutsaLMsia ManUtd will win it better this year coz they are without Ronaldo.

weiLeecheok@findfutsalmsia because MU simply rawk people's life and so they will win! =)

rei99@FindFutsaLMsia MU will win 09/10 EPL coz all other the teams will be below MU

drewmmu@FindFutsaLMsia simply bcos MU is now without CR

GoonerAris@FindFutsaLMsia because Ronaldo's not playing

aimanE2I@FindFutsaLMsia Because they Manchester~ly stands United!! How's that?? haha Obviously i'm not exactly a football watching person~ =P

philipkhor@FindFutsaLMsia We win because "the competition" is restructuring. United ONLY needs to tweak and optimise!

chapree@FindFutsaLMsia Because it's United, you silly! BUWAHAHAHAHAH >:)

vicjamm@FindFutsaLMsia cause MU are meant to be champions. they have quality, not quantity.

cheem@FindFutsaLMsia Man Utd will win the 09/10 season because they hv a young team that has great passion for playing the beautiful game!

merppremo@FindFutsaLMsia cause MU is the best there is.... the best there.... was and the best there ever will be...

aimansyazwan@FindFutsaLMsia Manchester United are the real mans! Glorious forever1

afeeqnadzrin8@FindFutsaLMsia Man Utd showed us the beauty of football during the 08/09 season. Look at the mentality each player had. Vidic,Ferdinand etc

afeeqnadzrin8@FindFutsaLMsia Manchester United will definitely win and i'll "wazza-ing" them until we prove those "giggsy" that they were wrong.

afeeqnadzrin8@FindFutsaLMsia Man Utd showed us the beauty of football during the 08/09 season. Look at the mentality each player had. Vidic,Ferdinand etc

afeeqnadzrin8@FindFutsaLMsia Man Utd will win their 4th Premier League in the 09/10 season because of the passion these players have.

afeeqnadzrin8@FindFutsaLMsia People assume that just because Ronaldo left, they'll lose the title but honestly, they won't.

weiLeecheok@findfutsalmsia I do not know why but i know the players are HAWT! =)

Izzuddin1990@FindFutsaLMsia because the red devils burn rhe ground they step on none can stand a chance haha

vicjamm@FindFutsaLMsia cause I believe Ronaldo don't make any difference and we have won it with him.

zique@FindFutsaLMsia Man Utd, Premier League Champions 2009/2010. What a nice ring to it. No other team in the modern era deserve the title.

Let's all enjoy the Manchester United vs Malaysia XI match on Saturday at Bukit Jalil!

Do us proud Malaysia!

David Villa Not Likely To Join Barcelona

Aww man, looks like we won't be seeing David Villa become a Catalan this summer.

Joan Laporta insists that we won't be breaking the bank with a €43 million price tag on the prolific forward from Valencia.

I understand that we're still looking to sign a forward, a striker and a defender but so far, nothing yet.

Diego Forlan is considered an option but I don't think that will happen either.

Nonetheless, we'll still kick Madrid's sorry butt and win the La Liga anyway.

Malaysia XI To Warm Up For Manchester United Against Zimbabwe

Manchester United's arrival to Malaysian shores draws nearer and nearer and I can barely contain myself!

I'm actually really proud of the fact that our national team will have the opportunity to face the most devastating teams in the world in front of a jam-packed arena at Bukit Jalil this 18th of July 2009.

I would kill (well not literally. Actually.... :P) for a chance to play against the Red Devils. Who knows what the players are going through and the sort of preparation that is in call ahead of such a monumental occaision for the Malaysian Tigers.

One thing we do know is that the national squad will be facing Zimbabwe in two test matches today at the Kuala Lumpur Stadium and on the 14th 0f July 2009 at Stadium Shah Alam.

K. Rajagopal, the national team head coach noted that the Tigers were initially scheduled to play Syria instead of Zimbabwe. Not too sure why it was changed though.

In terms of "familiar" faces on the national squad, only four will be present namely ndra Putra Mahayuddin, Amri Yahyah, Norhafiz Zamani Misbah and V. Thirumurugan.

As far as team selection is concerned, Rajagopal noted that no one is guaranteed a place and he will use the two matches against Zimbabwe to choose his starting 11.

Good luck Malaysia!

Barcelona and Cesc Fabregas!

The Arsenal Faction Leader wouldn't be too happy about this. :p

Despite constant denial and pledges of allegiance to the Gunners, Cesc Fabregas is still rumoured to be en route to Camp Nou! :)

And it seems that Arsenal does seem to be open to the sale of the Spanish wizard. As always, anything is possible at the right price. In this case, the "right price" stands at €46 million.

We are however looking at ways around to work this and possibly get a lower price for Cesc. How? By a player plus fee deal. Not just one, but some reports have gone far as saying that two players will be offered to possible reduce Arsenal's asking price.

The two are former English players namely Alexander Hleb and Eidur Gudjohnsen.

We looked to Ribery as a signing but Bayern are being full-time pricks by being unrealistic in the fee demanded for the French winger.

I REALLY hope we bag Fabregas. We're going to need a star signing of our own following Madrid's outrageous recent shopping spree!
