Excuse the Portuguese. I don't understand it either but lets just sit back and enjoy the skills. :D

Trojans vs Texas @ HTO, 20 June 09, 8pm

Score was not officially kept but Texas overcame the Trojans with an approximate score of 10 - 5.

A member of staff, a Liverpool fan, in a United jersey. Priceless!

The Trojans started off well with flowing passes and threatened to open the scoring but were denied by an on form Texas goalkeeper.

It was Texas however that broke the deadlock after a cautious build up which led to the opener.

It was a rather evenly-matched fixture with both sides playing well. The difference was a brilliant goalkeeping performance by Texas coupled with an off-day for both of the Trojans attacking players.

Park Ji-Sung to Madrid?

I must admit that it was a soft defeat but we'll be back stronger next week. Why? The engineer gets back to training right after the match!

First Thing's First: First Touch

When we play futsal, we don't usually think much. It just flows.

The best players in the world do this. They play with instinct. But what most people sometimes fail to realize is that this instinct is harnessed from hours and hours of conscious training on the pithc/court. There are only a handful of players who are born with the natural gift of football.

For the rest of us, there is only one way to get better and that is to train.

And I can pretty much assure you the most important aspect of futsal that deserves utmost priority is the First Touch. A deft first touch sets you up with the best possible chance of beating your marker. A pure first touch makes the difference between an inch of space to shoot or a yard.

A video from Nike here featuring Cesc Fabregas emphasizes the importance of the First Touch.

No Futsal Edition For These Beauties?

I've been lusting for these ever since they were announced. Truthfully, football is a sport that I've last played years ago. I'm a futsal guy these days and am slightly worried that I don't see a futsal version of these amazing boots at the Pro Direct Soccer website. Any ideas?

Manchester United Wallpaper 08/09 Premier League Champions (That Won't Make You Wanna Break Your PC)

Like many Manchester United supporters, I was livid when Ronaldo's departure to Madrid finally materialized, mostly due to the fact of his numerous "pledges of loyalty" to United inlcuding one right before the Champions League final.

Now the fact remains that he is gone. No, we're not sad or depressed but mostly angered and annoyed. And like any United fan, I wanna keep using my Manchester United desktop wallpaper but how do I do that without seeing that prick's face on my computer screen?

Crop him out!

Enjoy.

Kaka' To Madrid

So, Kaka', the Milan-for-life maestro has finally arrived at the Bernabeu.

But I'm still surprised that his departure from the San Siro has not quite generated a REAL bang in the footballing world. I mean, yes, it is big news but not all quarters seem to be interested in it! Really, you'll be amused by how little reports there is on this. Trying finding news of Kaka' to Madrid on GoogleNews.

In fact, online tabloids seem more intent on flaring up Ronaldo-to-Madrid nonsense! LOL.

A video of Kaka's contribution in the yellow/green of Brazil and red/black of Milan.
